The Beat Cats are a traditional Rock n Roll band from the heart of Somerset but with a modern twist.  If you think of Eddie, Buddy, Gene, Elvis, Chuck, Carl etc. add a chunk of  Setzer/Stray Cats and top it all off with a dollop of Imelda May; you have the cream of Rock n Roll these Cats love!

  

* Arrive 7.00 for 7.30pm: Traditional Christmas Dinner of Roast Turkey with all the trimmings followed by Christmas Pudding.

Thanks for a great 2014!

Our summer season was fantastic this year with lots of  sunshine and happy people  - we greeted lots of returning friends and also also had the chance to welcome new ones to St Audries Bay.  

We have had a great start to the Christmas Season with some fabulous Christmas Lunches attended by over 400 people who had some lovely Turkey with all the trimmings and Christmas Pudding with lashings of Brandy Sauce, along with Christmas market stalls, bingo, dancing and entertainment!

We also had two great party nights with and an ELVIS tribute and 

an 80's VIDEO DISCO NIGHT.

Stargazing Weekend - Fantastic

A fantastic time was had by everyone who came to the Stargazing Weekend with Steve Owens in October.  The weather was very obliging on Saturday night when the skies cleared and we were able to gaze in wonder at our beautiful night sky with Steve pointing out many amazing sights such as the Andromeda Galaxy. We are all looking forward to next year!

The 'Gin & Tonic' Memorial Bench is now in place near Reception in honour of Bet Crossley who holidayed at St Audries Bay for many, many years and is remembered for 

her afternoon G&T's

Celebrating 25 Years of Accordion Week

 The 20th to the 27th July saw us celebrating 25 years of Accordion Week at St Audries Bay.  It was great to welcome back old friends, and to make new ones, with a wonderful week being had by all.  We look forward to the next 25 years being just as successful!

Triumph rally a great success!

Earlier this month we were host to 75 Triumph 2000 Cars.  With spectacular sunny weather throughout the whole week, 'The Whiskey Chasers' on Friday night and 2 days of great car displays, everyone had a fantastic time.

2013 - Past News - Fundraising by Ian and the W.A.S.S.A.C.K.S.

The WASSACKS had a wonderful year of friendship and fun in 2012 and raised the fantastic sum of £2213.80 which was divided equally between the M.S. Society, Dogs for the Disabled, BRI Heart Institute and NICU Bristol (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit).  

Ian’s Book sales raised £600 for the 

Somerset Young Carers.

2013 - PAST NEWS - Photo Competition Winner

The prize was a holiday at a Warner Leisure Hotel.

The funds raised have now gone over  £400 and hopefully will keep rising. We are holding a small exhibition to display the winning photos and help to increase the awareness of the charity Target Ovarian Cancer at Sanders Garden World on 8th March International Women’s Day, …….the next thing will be to turn the photos into a 2014 Charity calendar. We are very grateful to all those who supported the competition and our generous sponsors
